The magazine cover series "Jazz Mags" takes up the connection between lust and consumption. The banalization of lust is elaborated through cliché poses and expressions and reinforced by the abstraction of the digital line.
About the Artist
We are an artist duo from Hamburg and work across media in the fields of illustration, animation, painting, object art and installation. In our work, we explore the aesthetic and cultural significance of everyday consumer worlds and their objects. In installation works, we combine analogue elements (paintings & objects) and digital elements (animated films) and create a space in which recipient and consumer become one.
