Das Motto „Fast Forward“ ist Programm: Ob Zukunftsträumerei, Utopie oder Dystopie – mit Sicht auf das Ende der Pandemie wagt #MeetFrida den Blick in die Zukunft und fragt nach neuen Seh- und Lebensentwürfen. Seit dem 15. Juni können Arbeiten der Hamburger Künstler*innen Jason Engelbart und Christine Brey in der Pop-Up Gallery im Hanseviertel entdeckt werden.

The motto "Fast Forward" sets the programme: whether dreams of the future, utopia or dystopia - with the end of the pandemic in sight, #MeetFrida dares to look into the future and asks for new ways of living. Since June 15th visitors can discover works of the Hamburg based artists Jason Egelbart and Christine Brey.

's digital neopaintings spring from the opulent works of Baroque painting. Engelbart captures the religious and mythological scenes and brings them into our digital age. Yet they do not appear undercooled or emotionless, but radiate a power but also a sensitivity that captivates the viewer.

s Graphitzeichnungen beschäftigen sich mit vielfältigen Themen: Sie untersuchen die Beziehung zwischen Individuen, zwischen dem Einzelnen und der Gruppe oder dem Inneren und Äußeren. Brey studierte Bildende Kunst in Würzburg und Hamburg und präsentierte ihre Zeichnungen in Kolumbien, Italien, Österreich, Marokko und Deutschland. Einzelausstellungen u.a. im Museumsquartier Wien (2015), Gruppenausstellungen u.a. "International Congress of Illustration" Bogota, Kolumbien (2018), "Offspace" in den Deichtorhallen Hamburg (2019). Brey ist die Gründerin des Künstlerinnenkollektivs und der Ausstellungsreihe "Inside Draftswomen".



 graphite drawings deal with diverse themes: They explore the relationship between individuals, between the individual and the group or the inner and outer. Brey studied fine arts in Würzburg and Hamburg and has presented her drawings in Colombia, Italy, Austria, Morocco and Germany. Solo exhibitions including Museumsquartier Vienna (2015), group exhibitions including "International Congress of Illustration" Bogota, Colombia (2018), "Offspace" at Deichtorhallen Hamburg (2019). Brey is the founder of the artists' collective and the exhibition series "Inside Draftswomen".
